Seminar inaugurated

School of Management, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, NIT Warangal are organizing a one day seminar on “Physical and Psychological Issues in Women: Management of Risks and Challenges Faced Before, During, and Postpartum Period” today at Raman hall of Seminar Halls Complex.

Dr. S.Glory Swarupa, Director General, National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme), Hyderabad, Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal were the guests.

The program was organized for women with focus on Physical and Psychological Issues in Women. The event is sponsored by National Commission for Women, New Delhi.

Dr. S. Glory Swarupa spoke on the importance of women health and the support women render to the family. Further she spoke on the challenges that women face with health issues.

Prof. Bidyadhar subudhi said we all have huge respect for the women health. He said NIT Warangal will be happy to organize such events in the future too. ” I would have not been what Iam today without my mother”, he said.

Five sessions on women health were organized throughout the day. Around 170 women delegates have participated in the one day seminar.Prof. V. Rama Devi, Head, School of Management, Prof. Raja vishwanathan, In charge Head, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences welcomed the participants. Prof. S.L.Tulasi Devi, Prof. K. Madhavi and Dr.T.Rahul are coordinating the one day seminar.
