National Workshop on Recent Trends in Software TestingWarangal
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Warangal has organized the 16th National Workshop on Recent Trends in Software Testing. The theme of the workshop is Fintech Advancement. The workshop was sponsored and supported by IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation and NITMINER Technologies Private Limited. Around 63 research scholars and faculty participated in the workshop. During the five days’ workshop, experts from prestigious institutions covered several topics about the recent trends in testing.
Chief guest of the inaugural, Prof. V. T. Somashekar, Dean of Research and Development, NIT warangal appreciated the organizing team for conducting workshop on some of the latest trends in testing. He also said that Fintech is an emerging area and it is very much needed to organise workshops in such theme. He urged the participants to make the best use of the workshop by participating in the hands-on sessions.
The coordinators Dr. Sangharatna Godboley, Dr. Sanjaya Kumar Panda, NIT Warangal and Prof. Durga Prasad Mohapatra, NIT Rourkela, thanked IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation and said “TIH (Technology Innovation Hub) at IIT Bhilai is set up under the National Mission of Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) program of the Department of Science and Technology. The nodal center for spearheading Entrepreneurship, R&D, HRD, Skill development, and collaboration-related activities in the area of Financial Technologies across India. He encouraged all the participants to avail the facilities of IBITF. NITMINER Technologies is a startup powered by Dept. of CSE, NIT Warangal and funded by IBITF, DST, Government of India.” Dr. Sangharatna also thanked the organizing committee. Prof. P. Radha Krishna played a key role in the event as financial chair.
