Institute Health Centre, NIT Warangal organizes medical camp for its employees

NIT Warangal’s Institute Health Centre have organized a medical camp in association with Care Hospitals Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Dr. Harish, Orthopedic, Dr. Sudhakar Reddy, Cardiologist participated in the medical camp. ECG, 2D Echo, Bone Mineral Density(BMD) tests were performed on more than 150 employees of NIT Warangal.
Dr. Harish, Orthopedic delivered a lecture on Osteoarthritis. He said “Osteoarthritis leads to joint pain and is one of the common problems seen in older people.” Further he said It is important to follow a right life style like maintaining healthy weight and exercising regularly to avoid Osteoarthritis. Prof. N. Umamahesh, Registrar I/C thanked Care hospitals and Institute Health Center, NIT Warangal for organizing the medical camp. He urged the employees to take support of Institute Health Center and follow healthy lifestyle. Prof. Narasiah, Professor In charge, Institute Health Center also participated in the event.
Dr.G. Radha Rukmini, Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Chintala Karthik, Dr. Pradeep Dodda, Dr. Anchoori Karthik, Medical Officers, Dr. K. Anitha Kumari and other staff of Institute Health Center coordinated the event.
