NIT Warangal organizes one week Advanced Management Development Program (AMDP)

NiMSME and NIT Warangal sign an MoU during the programme.
NIT, Warangal is conducting a one week Advanced Management Development Program “Leveraging and Exploring Business Opportunities in Health Care Industry Using ICT” (19 -23 Feb 24). The program is financially supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. 25 candidates were short listed to attend the program. The registration was open to different types of participants like Doctors, Medical researchers, Biomedical engineers, PhD scholars, faculty teaching biomedical subjects, entrepreneurs, medical startups, self-employed from Women, OC, BC, SC,ST, Minority communities.
There are 16 speakers for 5 days covering various topics under Telemedicine technology for rural health care like, Telehealth services, telemedicine technologies using AI, IoT, cloud computing and machine learning, Digital health services, Identification of deceases like Heart attacks, nervous system, Medical data analytics, various state and central govt schemes of startups and entrepreneurs. The aim of the program is to encourage startups and entrepreneurs for self-employment in rural areas in medical services field. The participants like doctors, bio medical engineers, research scholars are expected to use this knowledge in their professional life and to serve the health needs of rural people using telemedicine technology and gadgets to get the medical data of villagers.
Prof V. Chandrasekhar, Superintendent of MGM hospital was the chief guest for the inauguration of the programme and delivered the Keynote address on role and future of telemedicine technology in India. Dr Glory Swarupa, Director General, National Institute of MSME, Hyderabad is the guest of honour and spoke various initiatives of MSME schemes. Prof Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director NIT, Warangal spoke on the importance of tieup with Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, and MGM in solving various healthcare related issues in India. Prof L. Anjaneyulu and Dr V.Rama of ECE department and Mrs V.Swapna from MSME are the coordinators for this program.
During the inaugural programme a MoU was signed and exchanged between NIT Warangal and Ni-MSME. Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal and Dr. Glory Swarupa, Director General, National Institute of MSME, Hyderabad signed and exchanged the MoU. The MoU focusses on the roles and responsibilities of organizing entrepreneurship programs, conducting orientation and training programs for faculty and students, and the need for technology development by NIT Warangal researchers for the rural innovators.
