Rajdhani College Organises One-Day International Colloquium on Relationship of Europen Union and India

The Comparative Federalists Research Group Department of Political Science, University of Delhi in Collaboration with Rajdhani College, University of Delhi organized an International Colloquium on“The historic unification process of the European Union” on 5th December 2022 at 2.30 pm. Professor Rajesh Giri Principal of Rajdhani College gave the inaugural address and highlighted the challenges that the pandemic posed for the entire world. The Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker, Ms. Lena Düpont, Member of Parliament ,European Union talked about the historical trajectory of European Union highlighting the various  challenges that the organization is confronted, most prominently the conciliation of interests of member states and the European Union as a supranational organization. She shatred her view deriving from her own pratical experience as a member of the Parlaiment of Euopena Union. Professor Rekha Saxena Convenor, CFRG Department of Political Science talked about the relationship betrween Europen Union and India and the opportunities for mutual collaboration. The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Nawal Kishroe Convenor, Research and Development Cell Rajdhani College
