Delhi & NCR IFSMN to Host Installation Ceremony on December 25

Bhubaneswar,(KCN): The Delhi & NCR unit of the Indian Federation of Small and Medium Newspapers (IFSMN) convened a Google Meet today to discuss preparations for its upcoming installation ceremony. The virtual meeting was hosted by IFSMN Delhi & NCR President Virendra Prasad Saini and conducted by life member Dheeraj Kumar. The session also included discussions on the challenges faced by small and medium newspapers, particularly in relation to the Registrar of newspapers for India ( Now Press registrar general of india, PRGI) and the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (now Bureau of Outreach and Communication, CBC).Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray, the Chief National Coordinator of IFSMN, NMC Co-founder and RASHTRIYA PATRAKAAR MAHASANGH ( RPM) National President presided over the meeting. After an engaging deliberation, it was unanimously decided to hold a one-day installation ceremony for the Delhi & NCR unit on 25th December 2024, at New Delhi. Virendra Prasad Saini was entrusted with organizing the event with support from the IFSMN Delhi & NCR team. Dr. Samantaray emphasized the importance of collective effort, active involvement and cooperation to make the event a success.Key IFSMN members who participated in the meeting included General Secretary K.D Mishra, Senior National Vice President Sanjay Ray, Sushil Kumar sharma, Haryana Convenor Manoj Goel, OUWJ President Sanjay Das and senior members Partho Ray, Jitendra Kumar, Ajeet Kumar, Srinivas Rao, Gopinath Sahu, Tahir Ahmad, Priyabrat Nayak, Anirudha Mishra, Mr. Ashish and Subrat Sahu.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants underscoring the commitment of IFSMN to support and address the needs of small and medium newspapers across the country
