Ratna Shree Award Celebrates Excellence in Yoga and Education

Mrs. Parijat Satapathy and Mrs. Hena Mohapatra have been honoured with the prestigious Ratna Shree Award for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields. The awards were presented during the Utkal Utsav program, organized by the world odisha society at Mayfair convention Hall in Bhubaneswar.Mrs. Parijat Satapathy was recognized for her exceptional work in yoga, environmental conservation, Landscape Designing and social service. She is the wife of Shri Anup Satapathy, Principal Chief Operational & commercial Manager of North Eastern Railway, based in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Mrs. Hena Mohapatra, the Director of the Maharshi Public School Group, received the award for her significant contributions to education and the propagation of Vedic science. She is the Wife ofDr Pabitra Mohan samantaray,the Chief edior of people’s english daily The Kalinga chronicle & Odia daily PARYABEKHYAK and National President of Rashtriya patrakaar mahasangh.
The awards were presented by Dr. Krishna Chandra Mohapatra, Minister of Housing & Urban Development , Odisha.
The event saw the presence of several eminent personalities, including:
Dr. Prasanna Pattashani, former Member of Parliament, Bhubaneswar,Prasad Harichandan, former Minister and PCC President,Kishore Dwivedi, President of World Odisha Society and Dr. Arundhati Devi, President of the Shobhaniya Movement.The Utkal Utsav program held in hybrid mode, brought together members of the Odia diaspora from across the globe both online and offline. The event celebrated the contributions of the diaspora in promoting Odisha’s prosperity and development.The program also acknowledged the efforts of individuals working both within Odisha and outside the state whose contributions have positively impacted its progress.The event was moderated by Ms. Kaberi Behera, supported by team world odisha
The dignitaries and participants commended the collective efforts of the Odia community worldwide in preserving Odisha’s culture and heritage.The ceremony concluded with a note of appreciation for all contributors emphasizing the unity and strength of the Odia diaspora in fostering growth and global recognition for Odisha.
