Maharshi Public School Celebrates 22 Years of Excellence

Baripada (KCN): The 22nd Annual Celebration of Maharshi Public School, located on Baghada Road, Baripada was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Shaheed Smriti Bhawan. The event graced by distinguished guests was conducted under the esteemed leadership of the school’s Principal Kajal Kanti Mohapatra.The chief guest, Baripada Municipality Executive Officer Deviprasad Rout encouraged the students to walk the right path emphasizing that the future of the children depends on the collective efforts of teachers and guardians. He highlighted the importance of understanding children’s minds through activities like reading, games and music, reinforcing the school’s motto, “Vidhya Atai Mahadhan Balake Kar Uparjan.”Dr. Pushparani Patra, Principal of Bangiriposhi L. K. College addressed the gathering as the keynote speaker stating that knowledge is the greatest wealth and education is incomplete without a teacher. She stressed the significance of hard work, perseverance and discipline in achieving success.The guest of honour Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantray, Chairman of Maharshi Group, Editor of Daily Newspaper Paryabekh and Chief Editor of Kalinga Clinic, shed light on the growing threat of mobile addiction among students. He urged students to focus on their textbooks and stay away from distractions that could hinder their academic progress.The school President Pradeep Kumar Nayak welcomed and introduced the guests before the event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a group Gurupujan performed by students, teachers and parents.The event showcased the school’s achievements over the past year with the President presenting the annual report.
