Kids Academy Vidyalaya Celebrates 8th Annual Function with Grandeur

Bhubaneswar, (KCN Bureau): The 8th Annual Celebration of Kids Academy Vidyalaya was held with great enthusiasm at the auditorium of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odishi Research Center. The event was marked by cultural performances, academic recognitions and the presence of distinguished guests.The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Padma Vibhushan Sudarshan Sahu setting an auspicious tone for the evening. The event was graced by Padma Shri Professor Dr. Ashok Mohapatra, former Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Karunakar Nanda, Director of the Institute of Physics delivered an inspiring keynote address.The celebration began with a soulful rendition of Jagannath Bhajans performed by the talented students of the academy. This was followed by a vibrant cultural extravaganza featuring traditional and modern dance forms from various states skillfully presented by 80 students and their parents.
A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony where outstanding students were honoured for their achievements in various competitions. Medals and certificates were presented by the esteemed guests recognizing the hard work and dedication of the young learners. Additionally, 10 dedicated teachers were acknowledged for their contribution to the institution.
Adding to the celebratory spirit Professor Dr. Karunakar Nanda and his wife Mrs. Nanda also took part in the awards distribution encouraging the students to strive for excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
