Odisha Pays Tribute to Late Dr. Devendra Pradhan
Bhubaneswar, (KCN Bureau): The 12th-day memorial service of Late Dr. Devendra Pradhan, former Union Minister and State BJP President was solemnly observed at the Freedom Fighters’ Ground in Bhubaneswar.

The event saw a large gathering of political leaders, dignitaries and members of the film and media fraternity who came together to pay their respects to the departed leader.Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, State BJP President Manmohan Samal, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Ganguar and former South Delhi MP Ramesh Biduri were among the prominent political figures present. State Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan also attended the ceremony reflecting on Dr. Pradhan’s remarkable contributions to the state and national politics.The event was also graced by notable figures from the film industry including actor Sabyasachi Mishra, actress Archita Sahu, director Sabyasachi Mohapatra and actor Ashrumochana Mohanty . Other eminent attendees included former MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, National President of the National Journalists’ Association (New Delhi) Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantray, Guru Maa Dr. Arundhati Devi, senior journalist Pradyumna Satapathy, actress Naina, actor Pritikant and film director Tapas Sharaghariya.The bereaved family members of Dr. Pradhan including his sons—Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Soumendra Pradhan along with his daughter-in-law Mridula Pradhan and nephew MLA Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan were present at the ceremony. They received heartfelt condolences from attendees who shared their grief and offered prayers for the eternal peace of the late leader’s soul.The gathering not only paid homage to Dr. Pradhan’s enduring legacy but also underscored his invaluable contributions to Indian politics and public service.
