DAV, KALINGA NAGAR CELEBRATED ITS ANNUAL DAY

Bhubaneswar, 19.12- DAV Public School celebrated its annual day “ROUPYAAYANAM” amidst great zest, enthusiasm and jubilation with a distinct spark given to the occasion to mark its glorious journey for twenty-five years. Chairman of the school Sj Madan Mohan Panda delivered the welcome address which recounted the long struggle that the school had to pass through in order to reach its present stature while Principal Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo presented the annual report that echoed with the glorious achievements of the students in different spheres highlighting the glorious trajectory of the school from its humble beginning to its majestic presence till date. In his address to the audience, the chief guest emphasised on the important role played by school in general and DAV institutions in particular in providing quality education to students and for their upliftment in all spheres of excellence. Regional Director Dr. K.C. Satapathy commended the steady growth of the school in all areas of academic brilliance and reaffirmed that DAV institutions of the zone are committed to their goal of providing quality education to its students. On this occasion, the chief guest and other dignitaries felicitated the meritorious students as well as their parents for their contribution and unveiled the ‘Coffee Table Book’ released to mark the silver jubilee of the Alma mater. Mr. Satyabrata Patra and Mrs.Mahasweta Patra, parents of Miss Ipsita Patra the highest scorers in the AISSCE-2021-22, were awarded ‘Parents of the Year Award’. Miss Abha Priyadarshini Best Girl Child for the session was awarded with ‘Asha Memorial Award’ while Miss Krishna Jena and Miss Krishnapriya Agarwal- Best All-Rounder of classes X and XII for the session 2021-22 were honoured with ‘J.P. Memorial Award and Best All-Rounder award respectively. It was followed by a colourful cultural extravaganza meticulously presented by more than 800 students from L.K.G to XII. The dignitaries present on the occasion includes the former Chairman of the school and Vice Chairman of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Sj Sarat Chandra Misra, Founder Principal and Regional Director, DAV Institutions, Odisha, Dr K.C Satapathy, Manager of the school Dr Bhagaybati Nayak, ARO, Dr (Ms) Sujata Sahoo, Mrs Ipsita Das, Principals of DAV Public schools of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Members of PTCC and School Managing Committee. Mrs Dipanjali Sahu, Senior Academic Supervisor rendered the vote of thanks at the end of the meeting.The celebration was a great success and this was made possible by the whole-hearted support and co-operation of all the   students and  staff members.
