International Girl Child Day celebration

Kolkata(11/10): International Girl Child Day has been celebrated by Govt UP School,Dandor,Nayagarhunder Kural Cluster of Odagaon Block.In a meeting regarding this a topic based on women empowerment is discussed by Headmistress Mrs. Lotus The lady teachers Mrs. Janaki Panda, Mrs. Susanti Panda, Mrs. Jhilibala Das narrated about the braveness and courage of girls. Other Assistant teachers Mr.Buddhia Patra, Mr.Pabitra Mohan Sahoo and Jashobant Pattanayak told the girl students about the imbalance of the men women ratio,its impact on the society and the awareness among the parents.The girl student Ms. Suchitra Priyadarshini Parida, Sapana Bishoi and Subhrabindu Chanda gave their own opinions on the Eve of International Girl Child Day. Mr. Jiten Kumar Dakua thanked all the guests as well as the students in the valedictory session of the meeting. A short film also presented before all the girl child of the school about the significance of the concern day by Projector show.
