The National President of the Rashtriya Patrakar Mahasangh Dr Pabitra Mohan Samantaray, announced here today the appointment of veteran journalist Vijay Kant Dixit as the Uttar Pradesh state Convener of RPM
Mr. Dixit is a distinguished figure in Indian journalism with nearly 50 years of experience. He began his career in 1976 with Dainik Deshbandhu and has served for over three decades with the Times of India Group (Navbharat Times) as a Special Correspondent. His extensive editorial background includes roles as the Founding Editor of Voice of Lucknow, Executive Editor of Dainik Bhaskar (New Delhi), and Coordinating Editor of Naya Gyanodaya (Bhartiya Janpeeth).
Currently, he holds the position of Chief Editor for the historic Amrita Bazar Patrika and Yugantar. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the Federation’s activities in Uttar Pradesh.
