Dr. Pratima Mahapatra, hoisted the national flag and said in her speech. The organising secretary Meera Beura, said that if we forget the discrimination among ourselves, have love and goodwill for each other and do not become aware of our duty towards the country, we will not be able to taste the taste of hard-won freedom. Joint secretary Indira Arora, Hall secretary Manju Singh, Executive Committee Member Meenakshi Mishra, Treasurer Nayantara Nanda, Kalyani Sahu, Supreeti Das, Gitashree Das and Councilor Suparna Behera were prominently present. On the occasion, sweets were distributed to the children of the slum area and the students performed patriotic songs.
