The second National Media Conclave, organised by the Indian Media Congressv (IMC) and the Organisation of United Working Journalists (OUWJ), was held with much pump and ceremony at the iconic Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on Friday, Feb 20, 2026.

Union Minister for Education & Skill Development, Dharmendra Pradhan, attended the programme as Chief Guest and highlighted the important role of the media in strengthening democracy and nation-building.

Mr. Pradhan highlighted the responsibility of journalists in ensuring transparency, accountability and informed public discourse.

Mr Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Former union information & Broadcasting, Parliamentary affairs minister inaugurated the gala event.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray, Chief Advisor, in the presence of Sanjay Das (President), Rajanikant Samantaray (Vice President), Pradyumna Dash (General Secretary), Prasanna Prusti (Treasurer), Kamalakant das, Editor,Himat and other dignitaries.
The programme witnessed deliberations on contemporary issues facing the media industry and reaffirmed the commitment of IMC and OUWJ towards safeguarding the interests and welfare of working journalists.
