The 11th day ritual ceremony of Late Devendra Nath Samal, father of senior BJP leader and former BJP Jajpur District President Shri Jagannath Samal, was solemnly observed at Saheed Nagar Durga Mandap, Bhubaneswar. A large number of eminent personalities, political leaders, journalists and well-wishers gathered to pay their respects and pray for the peace of the departed soul.

Among those present were Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray, National President of Rashtriya Patrakar Mahasangh, Indian Federation of Small & Medium Newspapers and National Media Confederation, and Editor-in-Chief of Paryabekhyak – The Kalinga Chronicle Group, Shri Manas Kumar Mohanty, Organisation Secretary of BJP Odisha.

Several distinguished leaders and dignitaries also paid their tributes, including Smt. Late Devendra Nath Samal served as a State Government officer and was widely respected for his honesty, dedication and integrity during his service. His life and values were remembered with deep respect by those present.
He is survived by his wife Smt. Sailabala Samal, four sons including his eldest son Shri Jagannath Samal, and other family members and relatives.
On the occasion, the gathering offered heartfelt tributes and prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in their moment of grief.
