Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has added another feather to its cap as 45 faculty members have been featured among the world’s Top 5% Scientists in the prestigious SciRank Global Index 2025.
Among the distinguished achievers are Dr. Chandana Mohanty, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sarbari Acharya, Assistant Professor, from the Department of Biology, School of Applied Sciences, who earned global recognition for their outstanding research contributions.

The SciRank Global Index is an internationally acclaimed scientific ranking system that evaluates millions of active researchers worldwide through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research productivity, scholarly impact, and citation performance. For the 2025 edition, over 8 million researchers and millions of scientific publications were assessed, with only the top 5% securing a place in the global rankings.
