Bhubaneswar: The southwest monsoon remained active across Odisha, driven by a low-pressure area previously centered over North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand, which moved over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhattisgarh on Sunday morning.The weather system triggered moderate to heavy-to-very-heavy rainfall across several districts. Over the past 24 hours, Agalpur in Balangir recorded the highest rainfall at 13 cm, followed by Jamankira in Sambalpur (11 cm), and Ambabhona in Baragada (10 cm). Other districts experiencing heavy downpours include Malkangiri, Debagada, Mayurbhanj, Anugola, Kataka, Kandhamala, Jajpur, and Sundaragada.
