Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed nine 2024-batch officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) as Sub-Collectors in different districts following their return from Phase-II training.The officers will also serve as Sub-Divisional Magistrates in their assigned areas.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department has issued a notification, marking the officers’ first independent field assignments. Under Section 14(4) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, each officer has been designated SDM of their respective sub-division
