Bhubaneswar: The Centre has reportedly blamed the Odisha government for the delay in issuing the final notification for an eco-sensitive zone (ESZ) around Similipal Tiger Reserve (STR) for which a draft was ready seven years ago.In an affidavit before the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the Union Environment Ministry has said this is due to the state repeatedly failing to provide the information required to take the process forward. At least three reminders were reportedly issued since July last year to the state.
