A condolence meeting in memory of late Pabitra Gouda, journalist of the Odia daily Prameya, was held this morning at Jayadev Bhawan.

The speakers paid rich tributes to the departed journalist and highlighted his dedication, integrity and professionalism in the field of journalism. They recalled various aspects of his journalistic career and his valuable contributions to society.
On the occasion, a three-minute silent prayer was observed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Journalists, social workers, organizers and intellectuals offered floral tributes before his photograph and expressed their heartfelt condolences.
It is noteworthy that late Pabitra Gouda had worked as a correspondent for several leading newspapers, including Paryabekhyak, Prameya Khabar and Nitidin. He was widely recognized as a film journalist and had earned respect for his sincere and committed reporting. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Late Pabitra Gouda was known as a dedicated, compassionate, experienced and realistic journalist. His untimely demise has cast a deep shadow of grief over the journalistic fraternity and all those who knew him.
